How we work
We believe that each event should be as unique as you are. We encourage our clients to meet up with us over a coffee or glass of wine to discuss their vision of their special day, how best to promote their new brand or create an intimate gathering authentic to you.

At Soiree we are there beside you for all of life’s occasions. Wether if be celebrating a baptism, wedding, 50th birthday or saying farewell to a loved one, we treat all of these milestones with great respect and sensitivity.
We also know how to get a party started. Exceptional food and personalised service, matched with mood lighting and music will turn average into extraordinary.

The boss lady
Katrina’s love of cooking starting with preparing dinner parties for her family out of the “Women’s Weekly Dinner Party Cook Book” when she was 13yrs old. This was the beginning of her passion for entertaining and parties. With a fear of missing out on parties, she decided to be at each one of them, by delivering her delicious food.
Living in Sydney for 10yrs started her food journey by working in cafes, restaurants and then some of the cities leading catering companies, The Truffle Group and Bold Food. The move back to her birth place of Perth, Katrina started her own catering business 11yrs ago. From humble beginnings this grew from a small friends and family client base to now being a well respected Western suburbs go to caterer. Soiree Catering is the next evolution in Katrina’s career, cementing her presence in the highly competitive catering business. With the rebranding of Soiree has come a new kitchen premise, based in the heart of Claremont which has allowed Katrina to take her catering company to an exciting new level.
Soiree Catering has a very talented and experienced group of kitchen and service staff who collectively draw from many combined years in the industry.
The kitchen team is lead by Robyn Whittaker. Robyn’s experiences include working for a leading a catering company in London on major events, cooking for the Royal Family and catering for international touring bands across Australia.
She brings with her a vast culinary experience, logical savvy and an excellent taste in music as our resident DJ.
Out front is lead by Sue Harris, hailing from Queensland where she had her own catering company for many years. She has now worked with Katrina and Soiree for 8 years and brings a high professional standard to our team. Her rapport with clients is warm and genuine. Sue’s “6th sense” has the ability to make you feel like your the only one in the room. Her on event team briefings are legendary. They ensure that each and every soiree has the highest level of hospitality service.
